The Dance Shak is a Dance and Theatre school based in Essex. We provide lessons in Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Street Dance, Acro, Drama and Singing. All our teachers have a background of performing from a young age and are passionate about bringing out the best in each and every child.

 

Here at The Dance Shak we aim to provide the best support for our students. We are always on the lookout for competitions and events that would offer our children the opportunity to showcase their talents

 

In the last few years we have had success at many competitions (Starpower International, Starz UK, TalentFest UK) as well having some of our kids being selected to perform in Southend's Cliff Pavilion and in the Annie tour in London. We also compete in  smaller scale local Dance competitions for those who prefer a smaller audience.

No matter what their needs The Dance Shak aims to help each child showcase their talents in whatever way they wish, wih some just coming along so they can be part of a team.
