The Dance Shak is a Dance and Theatre school based in Essex. We provide lessons in Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz and Acrobatics.  Our teachers come from a performance background and are passionate about bringing out the best in each and every child.

 

Here at The Dance Shak we aim to provide the best support for our students. We are always on the lookout for competitions and events that would offer our children the opportunity to showcase their talents.

 

In the last few years we have had success at many competitions - CYD, Starpower , Starz UK, TalentFest UK, FYD and other local competitions.  Outside of competitions we have had students hit the West End stages in professional shows watched by thousands.

No matter what their needs The Dance Shak aims to help each child showcase their talents in whatever way they wish, wih some just coming along so they can be part of a team.
